Trichlorfon is an organophosphorus insecticide with low toxicity and broad insecticidal spectrum. Appearance is white crystal. It can become dichlorvos in weak lye, but it is unstable and decomposes quickly. It has strong stomach poisoning effect on pests, and has both contact killing effect and permeability to plants.
